Can I be on Page 1 of Google in one week?
No, or more exactly probably not. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is not an instant thing. If you are not listed at all on Google, you will be able to find yourself there as soon as I get started working on your site, but you will NOT be able to be on page 1 of google for each and every keyword you are hoping for in the first week.. That being said, I have had it happen. If there are not a bunch of well optimized sites competing with you for that coveted #1 spot on Google then it might happen quite quickly after the SEO methods are implemented on your web site.
Can my website use my favorite font instead of the plain one’s that all the rest of the websites use?
No. Only fonts that the users of your web site have installed on their computers can be seen on a website. Your site might look really pretty to you, but it can look odd to the end user if you create your html with artistic, script fonts. Keep in mind that PC’s and Mac’s have different resident fonts so you have to have one’s that are compatible with both platforms.
Why does my website look different at work than it does at home?
Each computer screen see’s colors different, and is most likely set to different settings for page size, font size etc. Also different types of browsers will render your page differently. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari (Mac Resident Browser) Google Chrome, all make your site look a little different. If there are things not showing up in one browser, you should contact me and let me know what it is and which browser.
